Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29 September 2026

Replayers helps players, coaches, and clubs turn football footage into highlights and analysis. Because that footage often shows children, protecting personal information — especially children's — is central to how we build the product. This policy explains what we collect, why, where it goes, and the rights you have.

1. Who we are

Replayers is operated by Digital Blocks, a sole proprietorship based in Quebec, Canada. We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy and handle it in line with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (as amended by Law 25) and, where it applies, Canada's federal privacy law (PIPEDA).

Person in charge of the protection of personal information: the owner of Digital Blocks, reachable at privacy@replayers.tv. Contact them with any question, request, or complaint about your personal information.

2. What we collect

Account information— your name, email address, and date of birth (we ask for it at sign-up so we can protect younger players). For players under 16, a parent or guardian's email address.

Footage and derived information — the videos you upload, and the information our AI produces from them: player tracking, detected events, clips, and any annotations or highlights you create.

Usage information — basic information about how you use the app, to keep it working and secure.

Payment information — handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store your card details.

3. How and why we use it

We collect and use personal information only for the purposes described in this policy — to provide the service you asked for, keep it secure, and improve it — and with your consent. Where the law requires express consent, we ask for it separately and explicitly. You can withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual limits.

4. Children's information

Replayers processes footage and personal information of children, so every account starts on the most private settings — visible only inside your teams, nowhere public — and footage stays private to your team unless you deliberately share it.

Quebec law requires a parent's or tutor's consent before we collect personal information about a child under 14. Children under 14 cannot create their own account, and players under 16 must give us a parent or guardian's email address. Whoever uploads footage of a child must have the consent of that child's parent or guardian.

A parent or guardian can ask us to access or remove their child's information at any time using the contact below or our report and removal form — no account needed.

5. Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers who process information on our behalf, each bound by a written data-protection agreement: Vercel (hosting the app), Amazon Web Services (video storage and processing), Neon (database), Upstash (background job processing), Stripe (payments), and Google (only if you choose "Continue with Google" to sign in). We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

6. Information stored outside Quebec

Some of our providers store or process personal information outside Quebec, including in the United States. Before communicating personal information outside Quebec, we assess the privacy risks and rely on written agreements that require it to be adequately protected.

7. Security, retention, and governance

Footage and derived files are kept in access-controlled cloud storage and served through short-lived, signed links rather than public URLs. Only the owner of Digital Blocks can access Replayers' systems and data.

We keep personal information only as long as we need it: account details until you delete your account (we then delete them within 30 days), footage and clips while the team that owns them is active or until a valid removal request, and billing records for six years, as tax law requires. You can delete clips at any time, and ask us to delete your account from your privacy settings.

We assess the privacy risks of any new system or provider before it handles personal information, and we review these practices every year. If a confidentiality incident creates a risk of serious injury, we will notify you and the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec, as the law requires, and we keep a register of incidents.

8. Your rights

You can ask to access your personal information, have it corrected, withdraw your consent, receive it in a structured, commonly used technological format, and — in certain cases — have it de-indexed. Contact us using the details below; we respond within 30 days.

If you're not satisfied with our response, you can file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca).

9. Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. See our Cookie Policy for details.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product and the law evolve. We'll post the updated version here and change the "last updated" date above.
